Beyond Reality - Hell's Kitchen Recap 3/12/09
Last week Colleen went home. This week's dinner service will be a Bar Mitzvah. Ben is Jewish. The mom & grandma of Bar Mitzvah Boy tell his three favorite dishes are chicken soup, brisket & hamburgers. Reward challenge - The teams must make their restaurant quality versions of these dishes. Max aka Bar Mitzvah boy judged the dishes & by a score of 2 to 1 the men's team (& Lacey) won. As a reward the men's team got pampered at Skin Haven Spa. The ladies' team had to work with party planner Francisco to transform Hell's Kitchen's dining room into a sports arena for the party. Also the ladies had to partake in the Hora during the party & carry Max around on a chair on the dancefloor. Coi had problems with her station - held up all up the entrees because no one else could be served before Max.
Everyone had a great time at the Bar Mitzvah even though Francisco dropped the cake on the floor on purpose. Gordon has a surprise for Max - its the Harlem Globetrotters. They completed the dinner service & it was so close Gordon had to declare the men's team the winners based on performance. Gordon chose Andrea to select two for possible elimination. She chose Coi & LA after some minor headgames/drama. Coi spoke up against Andrea but Gordon sent Coi home. Next week - Andrea vs Carol again & Lacey might quit - really!

I had no idea Ben was Jewish. I had actually thought Ben was Italian.

Can you imagine what would have happened if that kid, Max, had been as heavy as Robert? Gasp!

I love the show but there's one person i can NOT STAND and Its Robert!!

I don't know why people think hes nice. He called a gay party planner "tinkerbelle" in the new episode alleged that he liked the beating he got from JP. DIGUSTING HOMOPHOBE!!! His immature comments are hard to watch. Even the one about calling Lacey fat even though i didn't like her. He just seems too dumb for the job. I hope LA wins.
