If you decide you want a song, yet can't find it anywhere other than Myspace then this video will explain how to get it for free.

Install Audacity with Setup Wizard.

Step 3...
Launch Audacity.

Step 4...
Select "Wave out mix" as your recording device

Step 5...
Go to band's Myspace page you wish you rip music from.

Step 6...
Press red "Record" button on Audacity, then press "play" button on Myspace music player.

Step 7...
Once song has finished, press "Stop" button on Audactiy.

Step 8...
You can delete any silence from track by highlighting it with the mouse, and clicking "Delete" on keyboard.

Step 9...
Type into address bar...

http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?lame_enc

and download "lame_enc"

Step 10...
After downloading, extract "lame_enc", and drag and drop lame_enc.dll into C:\WINDOWS\system

Step 11...

HOW TO SELECT WAVE MIX FOR RECORDING...
I forgot to put this in the video, sorry.

You go into Control Panel and click "Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices", then you go to the "Sounds and Audio Devices".

At the top it will have tabs with Volume, Sounds, Audio, Voice and Hardware. If you click the "Audio" tab you have 3 drop down menus.

The middle one should say "Sound recording". If you click the "Volume" button in the Sound Recording bit, you'll get a window open with 3 volume controls, Line-In, Microphone, and Wave Out Mix.

What you need to do is tick the box saying "Select" under Wave Out mix and you'll be able to start using Audacity fully
