I was actually there (happened to be walking by). The crowd was unruly. Completely blocking traffic, drinking in the streets, protesting (w/o a license) high rent costs in the area. The police started making arrests when people started throwing objects. There was absolutely no brutality. It was just a bunch of kids playing victim when in reality they were being a bunch of jerks.

is everyone in society an asshole now...it used to be ghetto kids but now its dumb suburban white kids who move to the city for college acting like animals....Thank God for the NYPD
