Decorating Cupcakes #52: Hamburger and fries

Original design for fries by Richardson and Tack. This can be found in their books "Hello Cupcake" or "What's new Cupcake"

Idea found in Betty Crocker's Big Book of Cupcakes and in What's New Cupcake by Richardson and Tack, but I've seen variations on this in many books and online.
The fries didn't turn out quite like I wanted, Betty Crocker suggests you use yellow twizzler candies for the fries.
NOTE* The starburst candy "cheese" will melt after a few hours when in contact with the cupcake/condiments/brownie. Don't use the "cheese" if you are making these a day ahead of time or only assemble cupcakes the day you are serving them.

At one point I was thinking "Eww... Why would you want a brownie covered in cheese? OOOOHHH! Right, it's starburst." -_-

on the "french fries" once you have them cut try laying them evenly on a cookie sheet and put them in the oven on a low broil for just a very FEW seconds, dont even take ur eyes off them or they will burn lol but this gives them a nice and toasty look, like they just came out of a fryer!!

yah those flavors dont really taste good together... instead of brownies or starburst u can just use colored frosting,,, Then it is still and edible cupcake
