  • wow, the german shepherd could only look. lol dutchies are the best!!!

  • Damn there's a lot of ignorant comments here.

First of all, Dutch Shepherds are highly intelligent working dogs. If you don't reach it tricks, it will start misbehaving out of frustration. This is both good physical and mental exercise for the dog and strengthens the bond between owner and dog.

Second of all, this breed is often used by police and as a rescue dog; trained dogs will be flown out to other countries to find survivors of earthquakes and such, hence the harness training.

  • Great video! I have a shepherd, who looks just like your other dog in the video. Her sister looks more like Belgian Mal- what is your other dog? Also Dutch? German Shepherd? Thanks!

  • Man I love this! I have one named Hammer I protection trained. he's a beast! But his OFF lease ob is NOTHING like this .lol

  • thats unbelievable!!!!!!!! it looks like a sweetheart!!! im actually trying to get one. i used to have a german shepard female, and it was the greatest dog i ever had. i always keeped her active by do flyball, frisby, and just doing simple tricks. is there a big difference in temperment between a german shepherd and a dutchies? and do they have the same health problems? i really wanna ket one

  • Would six months down from a broken leg be worth the risk try having to keep him down for that long because of his broken leg or legs

  • @nuttman2 Not everyone has access to professional equipment all the time, if that's what you mean. And one slip and they're done? They're not made of porcelain. A dog that is physically in good shape, for example by training them as shown, will recover from minor injuries without too much trouble. And there will be injuries, they're like little kids. Can't lock them in a padded room for their entire lives.

  • @ZaynahZiho there are much safer ways to get all this done with your dutch Shepherd? One slip done is not worth it!

  • climb
