Lyrics of the other version are better... Keep the acoustic, combine it with the other lyrics, and it'll be perfect.

I thought he had one of his band mates from Valencia help make it (Brendan) anyway. He's in the liner notes. I often seem to come back to this album though. Great stuff.
I also have Shane's cd of his first band as a part of Attracted to Miss. I really liked them.
