Unlike any other electric boat motor on the market, this particular electric boat motor has 11 hours of run time, can easily push a 28,000 pound sailboat around like it's nothing......and only takes 8 hours to charge. The cost of charging the batteries? Approximately 15 cents.
Darren Miceli is the inventor and visionary behind the ecologically sound electric machine. In the next few months Darren will also be releasing a Hybrid marine and automobile engine. Again, unlike other hybrids, these hybrids will get approximately 40-60 miles per gallon for the marine engine, and a whopping 400 miles per gallon for the automobile engine.
Green Planet.....eat your heart out!
this is great, I have a parker dawson 26, with 3,500 lb displacement, 1000 ballast and a yanmar yse8 diesel. I am really excited about doing something like this. There are dozens of companies offering an electric conversion. They all seem outrageously priced and actually discourage my DIY attitude, and I sense a desir to hide the real costs from me.
Do you correspond with advice, as my goals are for environmental reasons which we all benefit from. Thanks with any headstart you can provide
