Look up "The 101 Rules of NWOBHM" on MetalStorm and read #70 and #71.

wow!

Nice cover, actually. I enjoyed listening to it while reading comments from people who got confused and thought this was originally a Holocaust song that Metallica covered lol. And the guitar solos weren't bad at all. Just different. These guys took this song and made it sound like NWOBHM, and did a damn good job of it. If I didn't know better, I'd think it was from the same era as Diamondhead.

@TheRogueMonk Sorry man, but learn what you're talking about before you go saying things. The whole cover stuff besides what @zilch1823 said, was Garage Days which is pretty fucking obvious.

@FinnGamble -- YOU ARE FULL OF SHIT. Better check your facts with an attorney. Bands who play other bands' material in a bar without getting paid are OK -- BANDS WHO COVER ANOTHER BAND ON A RECORDING THAT IS SOLD FOR PROFIT MUST HONOR COPYRIGHT AND LICENSING AGREEMENTS TO PAY THE ORIGINAL ARTIST. *** FACT *** Now, stop spreading your dimestore legal advice on the internet until you get up to speed on the laws.

1. solo is awesome!
As a Metallica fan for well over 20+ years, I think all of this, both versions of each, sound pretty incredible. Metallica was obviously inspired by Holocaust and I'm sure Holocaust has been inspired by Metallica over the years by all their success and kick ass tunes. This says to me tha they both obviously respect each other so what's the problem here? Either way, they're both better than any of us so shut up and enjoy the ride...
