1st - sorry about the drunk videography. It's a Thursday night in Belltown, what do you expect.
So, a gunman was in #304 and apparently was wandering around my apt complex with a gun. Obviously it was serious enough to close down the block of 2nd ave between Bell and Blanchard
I was at my door cuz the officer at 2nd/Bell corner said I could go home. Officer at the door said, um, no. Of course, I was out drinking with friends and it was time to go to bed... to no avail...
Is it weird to anyone else that no one stopped me from taking video and that I was closer to the cop car than the newscasters? Apparently, I was excited about it when filming. I took the sound out but if you want to full version email me.

@MrEboneceo I live & work in the neighborhood of Belltown, (Seattle). And I couldn't agree more with you...unfortunately, as my co-workers and I have counted; 31 social services that caters to these folks. I wonder if they were spread out throughout the city rather than concentrated in one community would there be a noticeable difference? I think yes, but until then, we are SOL!

I've watch Belltown turn more ghetto ever year from people who dont even live in the neighborhood. The residence and the cops are pissed off now. At this point, to those who don't have any legit business here I say STAY THE FOOK OUT! GO F YOUR OWN HOOD UP.
