Romanian Runs Lisboa Marathon Holding Two Flags In His Hands It was his 12th marathon this year alone. And all of them were run by Romanian athlete Ilie Rosu carrying two flags: one of Romania, the other one of the host country. On December 5, Ilie Rosu ran on Lisboa streets holding Romanian and Portugese flags on the course of the marathon race. During his 42 km way, Rosu worn also a running T-shirt with a message promoting peace and frienship among Romanian and Portugese people: Impreuna-Juntos-Together. In fact, this message of solidarity and friendship is promoted by Ilie Rosu during all races he run. Ilie Rosu is a retired army officer, now working as a IT-specialist for Romanian company URBAN SA. He is a member of Romanian Association for History and Promotion of Aeronautics - ARPIA, but his main passion is long distance running. He is also a member of both Ro Club Maraton and Eco Alpin running club.
