  • Wow. I must say I am amazed. I have volunteered at a mainstreamed school with deaf preschool kids (4 years old) and I understand Andrew better than many of the deaf children. He signs very clearly.

  • Wow! I'm honored and saddened at the same time. I found "baby sign" before he was born and it has been something we love to do together. He actually signed most of his first words before he spoke them. He spends time with amazing deaf adults(my friends) and it is now blossoming into a second language for him!! The manual alphabet has helped him learn to read too! He spells everything now(many times wrong, but he's getting there)!!

  • Thats cool, I understood everything but one part, The what do you like to do for fun, we haven't talked about those signs with my class yet, I've only been learning for about eight months, and I only have the class two or three times a week, You're son is really good at signing, and three?! Thats so cool

  • "ride bikes, play games, swimming" Good Luck with ASL, it's a lot of fun!

  • He's adorable in any language!

  • Lovely <3

  • how cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It's amazing how quickly kids can pick things up if someone will work with them. I am only 17, but when I have my own kids, I am definitely doing signs with them.

The reason most deaf children do not sign well is because they have no one to work with them. At the school I worked in, it was common for a 4 year old to start school and have NO language because the parents refuse to learn sign language and the child is profoundly deaf... very sad

  • That was so cute

  • Good job!! :-)
