What do we need to lay aside? Hebrews 12:1-2

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

the "gray areas" arent really gray,that is His Spirit teaching us and how to give it all up and to hear Him,and it is sin if we dont listen,it will inhibit further learning until we obey.He speaks,and His sheep know His voice.Is 65:12and I will number you to the sword;and you shall bow down to slaughter;because I CALLED and you did not answer,I spoke,and you did not hear;and you did the evil in my eyes:and you chose that in which I had no pleasure".We need to listen. Good teaching :-)
