This video shows a deep sea coral bioluminescing as it is agitated by the manipulator arm of the Johnson-Sea-Link II submersible. These images were taken in complete darkness while the submersible was on a deep sea dive off the coast of Florida. Video courtesy of Islands in the Stream 2002, NOAA/OER.
