I worked at a Mobil station on the MassPike back in 1975. I can remember like yesterday a woman with a frikin' Vega- 'Fill it up?' I say. 'No, just check the damn oil on this piece of shit, you wanna buy it, I hate this car!' Didn't need gas, the damn crap engine burned more oil than gas... now with $4 gas and all the Ford and Chevy behemoths languishing on lots I shake my head and say- did they not learn anything over the last 30 years?
