What I don't understand are your comments that are quite contradictory.

It seems to me that you think that a philosopher cannot contradict himself or say something that is not well phrased.

This is one of the virtues of Zizek: he is not talking to his peers. He says what he thinks. Enough of this discussion.

What do you mean by "shrinks"? Psychiatrists or psychologists? If you're talking about psychiatrists "if" a patient tells him/her about suicidal ideation the "treatment is changing the drugs. That's what happened to Eric Harris, Columbine boy,

Suicide is a secular, psychiatric "sin" because it is an outright rejection of the society, it's culture, and the control and oppression mechanisms in place. That would be the reason shrinks "work" on suicidal individuals. Just the Inquisition, in it's modern form.

We want to understand why the person ended life.

Sometimes they don't leave a suicide note, don't have a disease so people cannot understand.

Judging them claiming that their reasons are not "noble", are silly is far from reality.

Everything about suicides is in the hands of the state and psychiatrists are those who are called to talk about when the subject is brought up.

There are numerous sites about suicide: prevention; studies by suicidologist/psychiatrists and so on.

Are they helping to make people not commit suicide? NO.

Are they helping to ease the pain? NO

Again: psychiatrists are far from understanding human condition. Just by the way they treat....
