@htc6600 That's about the most asinine statement I've seen. How are the rich going to make money if they have increased shipping costs to get around the bridge, more taxes to pay for reconstruction, increased insurance costs because of the payments made by insurance companies, etc.? Pawlenty didn't design the bridge, an engineer did. This is negligence, not politics.

@htc6600 Nope...the bridge had a design flaw from its original building. Actually the maintenance they were doing on it at the time of the collapse made the situation worse. Honestly, do you think anyone likes bridges to collapse?
