The LifeWave patches SCAM has been doing the internet MLM rounds since 2005. The company is owned by self proclaimed inventor "Dr." David Schmidt.
In reality Schmidt has a two year degree in business administration from Pace University but no scientific qualifications. Schmidt explained that he signed the original $80 patent application as "Dr." David Schmidt because he thought he would be taken more seriously by the patent office! His patent was not granted.
Mysteriously, Schmidt did not file for worldwide patents, something any company would do if they knew their "invention" was the real deal and not a scam.
LifeWave does claim their patches are FDA registered and that is true. The Class 1 category includes band aides and splints.
Schmidt left his family and pet dog behind in Georgia when he opted for the new LA lifestyle a few years ago. Schmidt's ex wife is on record stating that her husband would mix batches of the patch contents on their kitchen table in the early days!
The long running Hoax Forum thread has covered every point about this scam in great detail, if fact a prosecutor could easily win a case against Schmidt by using the forum information as a basis for their research.

Early management members who jumped ship have gone on to start their own, more modern, scams. Warren Hanchey with his 8ight holographic patches and Mojo Future Tech holographic bracelets and Ken Rasner with his CieAura holographic chips. These two companies have essentially copied the ideas behind Schmidt's scam.
Karen Kan Guenette also blocks any negative comments about the LifeWave scam.
Here's a video where she's Karen Guenette:

It's perplexing that an apparent mainstream Dr. is willing to put her reputation on the line for such an obvious scam.
Karen talks about her success as an ice skater, although looking at the video, one wonders at what level they were skating?

Ah, this reveals the level:

Adult Silver = Pre-Juvenile
Explains a lot, but as with all things associated with scams, it's all about appearances.
Looks like Dr. Kan has a large following. Not a single post by her supporters.
