The mouth of the Shubenacadie is in Maitland, which is just west of Truro on the uppermost part of Cobequid Bay.

This mud sliding was part of multiple "Shubenacadie tidal bore rafting" zodiac tours. Mostly it is adults that pay to go on these unique, and usually very wet and rough rides, as the Bay of Fundy tide travels upriver.
