I think this was the second time I ever buggied at Southwick. The wind was blasting out of the west, gusting over 25mph, so I was using the 1.4M Beamer.
Fun! I think this was also the day I saw 2 guys out trying to kiteboard in that chop! They were kind of new, but were getting up for a fast ride ashore! Neither had ever seen a buggy or a foil on handles, so I let one of them fly the 2M Beamer static for a while, he was impressed with the pull of a 2M kite. I've not seen them since. I think they were from the Oswego area? Gotta love this sport for meeting some great folks!
