Don't know why the springs? have you heard of bump-firing?
There is a video on making a little lip on a non-Hi-Pt mag so it will stay in.

@thade87 Spend the extra 200 bucks and get an AK47 nothing in the world beats an AK47 your gonna get guys that argue AR's do but AR'S like to fired wet and jam like a bitch in bad conditions AK all the way.

were you doing this video during a earth quake or are you on boat? Anyways nice video thinking about getting one. Was going to buy a AK47 but just going buy Hi point 45 carbine and a .22 rifle for longer distance .

you have a one major flaw in your review, this gun will not take the standard 1911 magazine. Otherwise, this gun is nice.

@dmitryinc WELL as per the manufacture it will accept 1911 magazines. I can't say either way as I did not try any magazines other than the ones that came with the carbine. The guy who purchased it also claimed magazines would fit his 1911.
