  • Yeah. Massive thanks for this, had almost forgotten about Ray.

No i really had, it would have been a massive shame and a personal disaster.

Shame Rob Newman didn't get the recognition that Baddiel did after this, cos after Hugh Dennis I think he is the 2nd best thing in this show.

    Thanks again!!!

  • THE RUNNER BEANS ARE OK! Brill. Thanks for this.

  • why isn't this still on TV??!!

  • @UltimaPowers I agree mate. Think that Rob Newman didn't actually want the recognition. He has become quite a radical. It's a shame, although obviously it's good to stick to the principles you believe in, I feel we have been robbed of a fantastic comic mind. Selfish, I know!

So glad I saw them live in Middlesbrough all those years ago!

  • It was a brilliant time for music, brilliant time for comedy, novels were cool, even TV soaps were cool (remember Broooookie!) David Baddiel has always been brilliant (I say this as a Spurs fan too!) and Rob Newman was even more beautiful in the flesh! What ever happened to indie culture!!!

  • Thanks,I had almost forgotten how good this was. Do you remember the scene where they ask the geography teacher "please sir are you soooo sad". It was my fav scence and i can't find it any where

  • Sarcastic phrases was my favourite scene

  • Look! It's David Baddiel before he became a slob! :)

  • Oh no! what a personal disaster!

  • I remember that trapdoor joke said on an old Laurel and Hardy film

  • I knew they did all sorts of other sketches but my memory could only recall those History Today sketches.

  • I saw Steve Punt in Waterloo, i was unbelivably rude to him and he was ok with it all. What a great bloke!
