Two card monte - tutorial

Two card monte. This reveals the method to a beautiful effect popularly known as "two card monte" made famous by David Blaine. If you want to perform it for others, please practice. I am posting this to share new ideas so that people who want to perform it, can hopefully learn a few good things by watching my video. There are many methods to perform this trick. The ones I show have been tested on the street and have never been caught.

NOTE: This is not the "real" two card monte - but most people know it by this name.
This is not exactly how David Blaine does it, but he made the trick famous.

when you do the break, in the beggenning ish, how many cards do you lift? 2 or 4

The initial break I am holding 4 cards - Ace,Queen,Queen,Ace. I give the spectator the top Ace and then do a triple lift revealing the bottom Ace.

i love this trick but i find the triple lift too hard...do u kno of any other way to do this

Remember to have them check the first card "If you don't trust me you can check" would be a good line. While they check you can do your triple lift, nobody will be looking at your hands at that time. Practice practice practice.

Great tutorial, I usually do it so that the ace of hearts and the ace of clubs change to the queen of hearts and the queen of clubs. I think it is a better effect this way.

I'd actually forgotten this trick until I found this and I've relearnt it :)
