Correction: the men WHO wrote the word. The scare tactics used by Christian theologians in the past and even now are contradictory to the image painted of God and Jesus Christ. Kind and loving aren't words I'd use for people that cast us into eternal suffering for not believing in them. Minor sins are wrong but seriously, how many deserve eternal suffering for them? Maybe it's true, and you are cast into the fire, but don't ell me God and Jesus are loving and caring if that is so.

I hate the devil analogy. The "devil", real or imagined, is evil by necessity. It's a job given to him by a supposedly loving God. The devil didn't create a lake of fire where people can burn for eternity for minor sins, one of which is to not have faith, in other words like a tyrant, God says "bend a knee or else". I am an agnostic, I don't like atheists with agendas, but I also think Christians in particular need to reevaluate this God they pray to and the history of the MEN wrote the word

You'd be surprised how many people it's news to. And the point that should be taken away from this is that we need to put our foot down now before it's too late. All governments have the potential to turn into the Soviets, The Nazis, and whatever other tyrannys that might leave a bad taste in people's mouths. These people kill in mass indiscriminately.
