Great Video and inspiration for those of you who have beaten breast cancer, and a message for those of us (my wife) who didn't make it; to not give up, our wives, sisters, mothers, aunts, grandmothers, etc. have not died in vain. Women who shout out they've made it through the battle ARE the voice to keep research moving full steam ahead!!

@chimptor50 it's not always about the tone of someone's voice, to me she sells the sh*t out of this song and I believe what she is singing. That's the important thing for me. Plus, she's a survivor! Might not be the best music production ever, but the video is fantastic and makes up for that to me.

I'm so glad that she's cancer free and all, having said that, the song is not so good. If you are honest and listen without the link to her personal problem, you must admit that the song is not that great. Also the recording is very abrasive in tone. Far too bright and tinny and not mixed well. Her voice is good but the melody is basic and not very interesting. The video was fun to watch and she looked like she was having a ball! It could have been better, just MHO.

I had no idea who she was, or what the song was about. But it's weird that I had a thought through the vid that she was a fan of the pink ribbon. Why did I think that before I saw the ribbon? And has she heard of "pink washing"?

@luno44 I have had cancer. I have endured chemo. I have felt hopeless. It was the love and support of others, many of whom view the pink ribbon as a symbol of hope and solidarity, who made a difference. I have no desire to commercialize or trivialize or "pink wash" cancer, believe me. Cancer in any form sucks ass. My sole intention is to send love to those who are suffering or affected by cancer, to say "you are not alone!" Rock on! XO Laura Roppe
