Just playing a couple of random djenty stuff. Using the Redwire Mesa Boogie Cabinet, 4x12 SM57 Cone Edge 0.5" .
Running Dual Tone on the Pod X3 Live, one Big Bottom and another Soldano Amp model , cab sim off on both of them.
Guitar is a Schecter Jeff Loomis 7 String FR, with EMGs 707, ash bodied, tuned to dropped Ab.

No post production EQ just using some compression and gate, to get a nice tight setting.

Tell me what you think about the tone!

  • what interface/software do you use?

  • @MrRandomBlahhh Presonus Firebox audio interface going into Sonar X1 as my DAW.

  • I've got a POD X3 Live+SM57+Reaper+TC Electronic Konnect 6...

How do I do to record with the mic, please?

  • @drneme Theres a USB recording function from the Pod. However if you insist, you'll probably plug your 57 into the TC and mic up an amplifier with the Pod running into the amp. You should be able to select the input from the TC in reaper.

  • @wjm123 thanks man!!

  • @ljevaine mediafire . com/?c7aqq7t2g88w47w , is a link to my old bundle, start from bank 30d and work towards 1.

  • @wjm123 u have the same pedal? u have a better tone? because i don't know how to use this pedal can u help me?

  • @ljevaine I don't have this anymore, but I'm pretty sure i used the big bottom + eqboost pedal and a angel PBall in the pod x3 i think.

  • can u send me this tone please? :D

  • @wjm123 Right on man, let me know how they work out! The majority of the Redwirez impulses were captured with a solid state power section whereas I used a tube power section. There should be some pretty big tonal differences between the two.
