Cat's Cradle in Carrboro NC was the site of I WAS TOTALLY DESTROYING IT's fantasmic cd release show, Saturday night, 10/6/07. FIVE bands!: Auxiliary House (www.myspace.com/auxiliaryhouse) began the show, followed by Hammer No More the Fingers (www.myspace.com/hnmtf), Sorry About Dresden (www.myspace.com/sorryaboutdresden), and Red Collar (www.myspace.com/redcollarmusic), who all primed the crowds. I WAS TOTALLY DESTROYING IT is John Booker on guitar & most vocals, James Hepler on drums, Rachel Hirsh on keys and guitar, Martin Anderson on bass, and Curtis Armstead on guitar. www.myspace.com/iwtdi or reverbnation.com/iwastotallydestroyingit .
I've posted lots of the low-qual videos I've shot from groups who've played around Chapel Hill, and they're catalogued in my blog at www.myspace.com/betsyssmile. Visit www.FOTKI.COM/TemplesofGrey for photography and snapshots of groups playing in the area, including this show.
