For many centuries Piracy has been punishable by death. The Navy killed three Pirates. It is not just the US Navy that will kill/arrest pirates. Hopefully your country's Navy, if it has one, would do the same.

Since 1784, the United States has had to take care of Pirates on the high seas. We have kept the sea lanes free for the world, and for our own commerce. The Barbary Pirates were Muslim pirates not unlike the Somali pirates of today. They need to be found, killed or imprisoned as they have an adverse impact on commerce for the entire world. If you are a justice lover, then you should not object to the killing, arresting of pirates. They are criminals that take what doesn't belong to them.........wait, are you a socialist? That would explain your attitude as socialists are pros at taking what doesn't belong to them. As for pollution, I don't thing America is dumping anything in somali waters.
