Norcsalordie from Leicester at Blackheath Folk Club just before Christmas 2008 with the Joe Hill song Preacher and the Slave website - http://www.norcsalordie.com/contact.html
based in Leicester they toured England from 2005 to 09 with their lively brand of folk music. Their high energy delivery carved out a niche in the genre.
Having just broken into the festival circuit and issued a new CD with eleven original tracks they sadly broke up in June 2009 - the very last song they sang together (Drunken Sailor) is on YouTube
Martin formed a trio called The Winsocks who made their debut at Broadstairs Folk Week in August 2009. There are five Winsocks videos on YouTube
really a wonderful version of this song!
well done indeed.
I think this is How Joe Hill intended it to be sung.
Thank you
