  • With Bach, Beethoven and Wagner nobody can't go wrong in classical music [you can go wrong with Puccini and Rachmaninoff]. Yet Wagner's "Parsifal" I have a love and hate relationship. You can love the music Wagner composed for "Parsifal", and I do. Yet I have to admit to dislike and even HATE the theme mesage of this Wagner's masterpiece. A quasireligious work of phony "Christianity". Guess who is my favorite character? Klingsor. At least he is honest with himself. The rest: idiots.
