is the talking thingie at around 18:43 comprehensible, and if yes, does anyone know what he is saying and where the sample is from?

it's very distorted, mixed in very low. i'm assuming it came from a tape recorder. it's an african american gentlemen with a megaphone speaking with a thick urban dialect. factor these together and you get truly incomprehensible, irrecoverable audio. the only words i can make out are "it's been a long long time, a long long time coming" if his words held any meaning, they would have mixed it in cleaner and clearer to be understood. no point racking your brain about it.

uh, i'm guessing they recorded the man for a reason. "it's been a long long time, a long long time coming" is pretty cryptic, and in that, it is heavy and therefor can be interpreted in any way by the listener. this is why i love GY!BE so much - because they leave everything up to my (our) own interpretation. we fill in the blanks and we give the songs their own meanings.
