  • Wow. I love this song. Huge Hole and Courtney fan. But at the end of this version, wow, the harmonies are terrible. The worst starts at 5:17. Wow. Sounds like geese dying or something. Melissa has a beautiful voice, but with Courtney so out of tune it just clashes. Ouch.

  • I love when people bitch about her "bad" voice. Look I don't even really like hole, but I know that's probably what she was going for & doesn't give a shit otherwise. Fuck all those women singers who sound the same.

  • @ihithardfrom95, AndyRiotRed is correct in a sense. Courtney's never been a technically gifted singer, but she puts her everything into it and I think that it's personally more impressive on her part. She totally ignores technical singing conventions, but she still manages to pull her weight and totally belt it out; I love her style, but it takes getting used to. I personally think her lyrics and delivery are her greatest asset, though. Kurt wasn't a technically talented singer either

  • @iamaladycanyousaveme

It was officially released on the With The Lights Out Boxset in 2004.

  • i like it but i like the Nirvana version more

    nobody is better than Nirvana

  • @AndyRiotRed Kind of an insult kind of a compliment..but good whatever :)

  • I love this!

  • Hahaha, the transition was so abrupt, if you can even call it a transition.

I love her lack of singing ability, it makes it all about passion and intensity and not about hitting the notes.

I had classically schooled singers, they ain't got no flow, no soul, and no authenticity.

  • Very cool !
