We have some burturdis miners at our mine. They are heavy and cut well, we used them in a 40 foot cut plan with ventilation fans, mining 80-100 inch average cutting 4 barrel longwall panel sections, we have pulled over 200ft regular. The only thing is the reliability is not as good as a joy, cheap metal, the joys are generally not as fast cutters but some of their new machines without ratty face boss cut and load as well as a bucyrus. Hopefully Cat will make them a better company.

True it dose look a little flimsy. But I love my bucyrus scoop, lots of power, I can pick up a loaded car and move it like a wheel barrow. No trouble to pick a cm 15 up off it's cable either.
