The collapse of WTC 7 had been predicted some 7 hours earlier, when WTC firefighters put a transit on the building after a 12 floor Gash was torn 65 feet into the building. I personally heard on the radio several reports of WTC7 having been destroyed prior to it's collapse.

It's intersting how the anchorman said WTC7 was "weakened"---the official NIST verdict!

Smartbet, I'm sorry but you are incorrect. The BBC even made an official response on their website confirming that the video is indeed authentic. Their excuse was that the reporter, Jane Standley, was merely confused when she reported the early collapse.

To see the BBC's official response, Google the terms: BBC "Richard Porter." The second link is from the official BBC site with an editorial dated Feb 27, 2007. The incredulous comments below the editorial are worth reading as well.

This video has been debunked repeatedly and now I must debunk it again for you. The reporter is standing in front of a blue screen playing a tape delay recording on it. At the beginning of the news cast you can clearly see the vertical white line that is the edge of the screen on the far left of the video. On the left of that white line you can catch a glimpse of a live shot of NY city as it actually looks at this point in time. Do you see the dark building with smoke going over it??
