@nimfenzwanner edit: The Screaming Men's cinematography [...] are quite bad (imho)

The original video is about 8 or 9 minutes. Does anyone know where to find it?

@efykehyg i went ahead and verified this. Given the scene elements are the same, man walking, same boot, ice etc, the walking direction/intention and suspence are completely different. The Screaming Men definetly had more interesting elements, yet, imo, i tend to prefer Guido's short, even if it seems to be a oneliner/gimmick. The Screaming Men's cinematography and especially musical/midi score in that opening scene (imho)...as if you're watching a regional soap opera.

I saw a longer version (the full version?) of this at the Hirshorn in Washington DC. It's really quite striking on a large screen, and the audio of grinding and crunching ice adds a lot to the atmosphere. Strongly recommended.
