7UP introduced Spot in 1987. We launched a campaign at Leo Burnett that included a commercial during the Super Bowl. The strategy wasn't to fight Coke and Pepsi but be in the refrigerator next to them so that whenever an alternative was needed, an "uncola," we'd be there. The campaign was particularly targeted to the youth market. It included an ad where Spot gets caught in a slot machine, which led to many consumer complaints.
so fuk cola & pepsi... and drink 7up? do you really have to challenge other competitors who takes from your market share so clearly like that? I think you can find a better idea
