In less than two minutes, using a child's grasp of melody and language, Francisco builds what many believe to be a powerful case about the relationship between a higher being and the co-existence of dogs and man. She doesn't cite scripture, she makes no references to Christianity and avoids conventional, confrontational and controversial dogma.

** In my view, while Mrs. Francisco is unlikely to convert atheists, she does capture, even among non-believers, a deeply resonant appreciation for dogs. I would go further to say it may cause some dog-loving atheists to yearn to believe, that is, to want to believe (even if it's no more than wishful thinking as from a child) that a higher being is indeed responsible for putting dogs on Earth - for the express purpose of meeting our instinctual need for companionship. Her video is still tantalizing because it conveys an abstract meaning (feelings) and an appreciation of something beyond the reach of words.

This is a very nice song and video. To all you folks that don't like dogs, gods, etc I wish you wouldn't watch videos that cause such negativity then post such cranky stuff. I don't purposely seek out and watch videos about mean people, guns, hypocrites, etc because I don't like those things and since I don't watch them then I don't waste my time being angry then sharing that anger with happy people. One thing I have to point out that I really appreciate about "shit" videos like this...Her use of "guilt". It's a weapon a lot of secular small town churches and youth groups use to get doubtful people to commit. Have to love psychological weapons like that.
