subjective information is greatly needed in this instance.if cause is unknown i wuold ask if it was ok to contact doctor.if client has not been to doctor then i wouldnt offer anything more than a relaxation massage and i would refer them to a health professional
Reviewing medical info is where I would ask: "If there is any changes that I should know about. Any medications (diet pills, and such) to explain weight loss or possibly had recovered from a sickness. . .etc.
Instead of commenting directly on their weight, I would ask if there are any recent updates or changes in their health or medications they are taking. My regular clients have to fill out a new health questionnaire yearly, but I ask each time they come to me if there are any changes.
If a client looked ok and relaxed, I wouldn't ask anything.. but if he appeared stressed, then I'd comment on a weight loss and probably even asked for a reason of it..
i dont think this answer is great advice.no u wouldnt take it as a grain of salt it could be an underlying pathology

Yeah, you have to be sensitive to the situation. I wouldn't say anything at all.
