Marine Welcome Home - June 26, Marine Lcpl. Miguel Moreno

On Saturday, June 26th,2010, God Bless The Troops, along with the Fire & Police Depts and citizens of Northlake, Franklin Park, Leyden Township and Schiller Park, Illinois were a part of a surprise welcoming home of Marine Lcpl. Miguel Moreno, following two back-to-back deployments in Afghanistan.

This was a TOTAL surprise to the Marine. The show of patriotism and support for this young marine was incredibly moving and will be long remembered in these communities, and in the heart of this fine Marine.

Apologies for speed and quality - this was taken from one of the escort vehicles as it made its' way to the Rally held at West Leyden High School for Marine Moreno, and two local Gold Star Families who lost their sons in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Honored were the families of Army Pfc. Randol Shelton of Schiller Park, along with Army Pvt. Christopher Alcozer.
