  • have you ran your hand under the pan to see more or less where the residual oil is comming from..how about your front gear case have you checked it for leaks..the seal it self..

  • Looks awfully clean, even the sump...check the fuel lines, I'd say...I'd like a better look at the other side, though.

    It's not abnormal for engines to leak just a little, particularly as the gaskets and seals age, but if you're not losing an appreciable amount of oil from the sump, it should be fine. Check the other side of the engine, and the fuel connections, tighten if need-be. It should be obvious if something is leaking: it should be covered in a grimy film below.
