So wonderful to see this. Moving and beautiful - I saw Ann Peebles live in Kentucky many years back with Otis Clay and the Mississippi Blind Boys - It was aired on PBS - There is nothing like hearing her soulful voice in person - My favorite is "I can't stand the rain"

Her voice or sounds like tina turner voice.

One of the finest R&B singers of all time. I wish she'd make a new album,
-
She is currently working on a duet with Cyndi Lauper for Cyndi's new blues album! Can't hardly wait!!!

I agree w/ everybody on here- Ann Peebles is the REAL DEAL and has always desrved more recognition....

This is Ann Peebles at her very best and she just leaves todays R&B and Rap for dead. I love her voice, I love her style and she is the queen of soul. What a performance this is and to any R&B singers out there now, you should all retire until this queen of vocals retires. This is just beautiful and John More is so right to say that we should let this piece of real class just wash all over us. God bless you all out there and remember the most important thing you have in life is your health.

She really does have one of the most beautiful voices. It really is an injustice that she's not more popular
Ah yes -The Lonesome Pine Special. Man performing on that show w/ Ann was such a treat and I still have the original footage from that broadcast that I'll post soon. I'll have to show Ann all the beautiful comments as I'm sure she'll be so moved by all the love and support. -p
