This is an ORIGINAL Vintage 1962 Fender Stratocaster in SUPER RARE custom color Sonic Blue finish. One of the rarest Fender colors EVER. What makes this guitar even more desirable is the fact that it has the earlier "Slab" Brazillian Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is 100% original and in near mint condition. A Once in a lifetime find.

  • that looks like it was sittin under some kids bed for 48 years, case candy and all.

  • It's hard to say. It does appear to be Sonic Blue, but I've seen the exact same color on other Strats and have seen it called Daphne Blue, Olympic White, & even Surf Green!

  • @blainemullins Sonic Blue! My fav color. Studying the Fender colors for years.

  • I've got the Classic Player 60 strat, sounds and feels awesome!

  • It looks a lot like the Fender Strats John Lennon and George Harrison both had in 1965 when they recorded the Rubber Soul album. They were both sonic blues I'm pretty sure. Daphne and Sonic blue must be pretty similar.

  • its def. Daphne blue.. sonic turns green in just a couple of years

  • great! how much did you pay this strat?

  • Nice! But isn't that Daphne Blue? Sonic would be green by now, yeah?
