I remember watching this series as it first aired. Even now it is still my favorite anime.

For me, nothing has topped it story wise or the emotional impact is can have.

I don't remember you people putting any facts in when praising this anime. Other than "it's awesome" and that's what you call an opinion. Also, I didn't insult it. I just said I hated it. That's NOT an insult. It's an OPINION. I don't think a simple difference in opinion, especially when talking about a form of entertaiment like anime warrants an insult. Unless you somehow have gotten it in your head that your opinion is superior to others and they must be mocked for it.
