You could have gotten in the Masquerade with just the $80 Deluxe Pass + $20 for the shipping though, right? I get what you mean though about it being more trouble than it's worth. Even with the vast improvements from last year, I think I'll only go for 1 day next year myself.

I just keep hearing about how FanExBlows improved SO much over all the problems last year, but i'm still not planning to go back.... even if the organizational issues were fixed, they still don't offer enough of the things I like to for the price they charge for admission. Sucks to miss the large masq, but that's the only thing I'm lamenting :(

I agree; this was my first FanExpo and its really crowded. I couldn`t handle it; and I remember the green room place in the food court.
I only really wanted too go for the Homestuck meeting and wanted too meet Tom Felton (which was IMPOSSIBLE!)
I like Anime North a WHOLE lot better, its a lot of fun still and I have been going for 8 years. and the small cons like DTAC or MTAC and such are a lot more fun because its smaller crowds and can meet more people. I also dont like how FE is 4 days now
