  • @NickDiaz209 Weight gain causes diabetes, not sugar directly. But you can gain weight on protein, etc., and still get diabetes.

  • @username7525 Or, um, *dairy*. Some vegetables do have calcium, but fruits won't be of much help.

  • The woman is spewing the same old junk we've always been told. EAT REAL FOOD - be generous with the sour cream and butter!

  • I heard somewhere else that the corn crop is sprayed with lots of chemicals and that is causing the health problems.. also, where is the vegetables on that table? They provide the live enzymes that make your body work well..

  • ooohjhh my gooood why does the buisness interfears with food let food for the food carers not the vuglu greedy buisness men w2ho dont think only about their mmmmooonnneeeyyyy

  • This girl is nuts...I wonder how much she got paid by all of these brands as she lies and says it is all good for you? I am so sick by health professionals who sell their souls to the processed food companies.

  • So much bullshit.

  • Madelyn Fernstrom is a well connected industry hack who has been heavilly recycled on NBC and iVillage.

  • High Fructose Corn Syrup is not the same as Fructose?? How on earth did she get her degree! Messed Up!

  • Studies show that people who consume high GI foods such as white bread and sugary foods have higher rates of diabetes. So sugar might not be a direct cause but the insulin spike doesn't help. Also, there is plenty of research out there that shows that HFCS is no different than sucrose with how it is processed by the body. You people should go to pubmed and research some peer reviewed journals...
