no actually, amy lee does the backing tracks herself, except for call me when you're sober because her sisters did the backing track for that song.
and btw, the whispering in the background in the bridge can't be heard clearly.

He never said it was a demo. He said VOCAL REMIX. You can hear the backup singers better in this one than the one on the CD. You don't you try thinking before you speak next time.

i love this version!! im using their music to block out my family!!
-
i like how the harmonies are as loud as the main vocals and you can hear them clearly
got any more vocal remixes? :)
-
@Sk8erboi753 That's my only problem with this version, I love the harmonies, but I love that poem, too.
-
@GurtrudeGroinMcMuffi I miss that solo. Stupid feat... that extra bridge was not necessary...
-
Thanks for the upload. Evanescence is my favorite band. This was very refreshing.
-
I can do this on audacity haha
-
its the same you just turned down the music sound in the song -__-
-
oh, i see. i listened closer, and i heard the difference this time.
-
that's cuz you're not paying extremely close attention. The harmonies are louder, which is how it's different. They're actually louder than the melody in the pre-chorus.
-
sounds the same to me..
-
I LOVE this!
-
NICE!!! I LUV IT!!!!!!!!!!
-
i like this version better lol
-
actually, originally it was labeled "demo" that was changed when it was proven to be a remix.
-
why you gotta be mean about it?
-
But you can still hear the backing more, wether it's Amy or not.
-
pretty good!!
-
i love the backround vocals, i like that you can hear them better
-
there's a little difference in how they're singing and a little instrumental in the beginning(i think).
-
Hey guys, I got ahold of a supposed "demo" of this song. It may be a remix, but it may not. Check it out...
-
Uh, yeah, you assholes, there IS a difference.
It's not huge, but it's there.
-
Actually guys, there IS a difference.
You can hear the backgroand singers more.
Listen better.

why do some demos sound better than the release edits? Take the 2002 demo of BMTL instead of the duet they had a guitar solo.

Because "Wind-Up Records" requires that Evanescence have to be sounded for mass listeners (they consider that demos don't approach)
