Well, he was set to make a movie about Noriega at one point. But then he ended up making a movie about Nixon instead. Which to be fair was a great movie too.

James woods was nominated for best actor in a leading role for his characters as richard boyle....Stone also filmed platoon in da same year (1986) for which he won an oscar for best director nd picture

Oliver stone should make more movies like this one,a movie about the revolution in nicaragua in 1979 would be great.
