Railfanning Academy, CO 3/14 With an Amtrak F59PHI ON A FREIGHT!! MUST SEE!!

OMG!! what a day. the reason theres so mant trains in an hour, is because of a broken rail that's been repaired by UP crews. anyway the trains...

Train 1: BNSF sd70ACe leads a 4 unit coal south after the track has been repaired at that exact place.

Train 2: BNSF es44ac 6406 leads a loaded manafest north 8 minutes after the coal.

Train 3: BNSF sd70mac 9656 leads an empty coal north to the academy passing siding with an almost all EMD train.

Train 4: BNSF fakebonnet c44-9w 736 leads a 3 unit manafest north WITH A RARE LOCOMOTIVE!!! AMTRAK CALIFORNIA F59PHI!! this is a must see!!!

and the last train is the same train i saw before. WATCH, rate, comment and defiantely fav :D :)

i now can feel good about using my Athearn Amtrak F40PHi in my freight trains I still use a Freight motor in the lead but for some of the grades that Amtrak has more pulling power and less slip so I run it alot but kinda felt I was breaking the rule of norm not anymore.
