What a good idea!

Once you make a list and go shopping, if you delete each item as you go, will your original list lose those items?

I wish one of these grocery list apps would have estimated prices added so I wouldn't have to use my calculator as I go. And instead of having to search by clicking thru all the tabs it would be better just to begin to type the first letters of the items and they show up like contact lists usually work on phones like the Blackberry phone/.

So I picked this up about a month ago, fortunately I didn't notice the sound effects but I agree they're over the top especially in this video. One thing I wonder and haven't figured out is, what is flagging for? This may but a dumb question but had to ask.

Cool. Sold.
This is great for groceries, but can you make additional lists for stores such as Costco or Walmart or Home Depot? I like to keep separate lists for each store.

Yes, you can make multiple lists.

Since you are buying non-grocery items at Walmart or Home Depot, how do you list the items? Do they all fall under the "custom" category?

We do have "some" hardware items... but yes you can add custom items... however, of course, the list of pre-defined items is skewed towards groceries.

You really hardly hear the sound on the iPhone.
The flag is for what ever you want it to be... for example, some users have used the flag for items that they have coupons for.

I was about to buy this application until I watched this video and heard the ridiculous sound effects in the app. Can someone tell me if they can be turned off or if they're just something running in the simulator--not actually in the app itself?

The sound effects can be turned off in settings. And, you can hardly hear them anyway on the actual phone.
