This is a portion of a documentary I'm making about Vietnam Veterans and the long overdue welcome home celebrations that have been popping up around the nation. I still have interviews and stock footage to collect. Finished video will be an hour. In budget raising mode now.

  • Understand what your saying filmputzer. No down and outers in that crowd after that day! The vast majority of these men were well attired and presentable. Im proud of all of them! even the ones you have addressed. All of these men have stories, they are like books. And like a good book they can get worn and tattered, treasured all the same.

  • Hoping I can finish this documentary someday!

  • All gave some and some gave all. They are all heros in my book and should be honored accordingly.

  • MY vet, my husband, died from the effects of Agent Orange a bit over 2 years ago. He did'nt want to talk much about his service as a Green Beret, but he talked about what it was like coming home or having to be in uniform in public on leave. He always displayed his POW/MIA flag & the very rare occasions, near the end of his life, when someone thanked him for his service were the only times I ever saw him tear up. Thank them NOW, Agent Orange is decimating these men. Thank YOU for filming this

  • Awesome touch with the Eagle..AIRBORNE!

  • Too bad it took so long to occur. Long over do. Thanks to the Soldiers,Sailors, Airmen/Women and Marines.

  • Great effort. Thank you for posting the video. Unfortunately a lot of the current younger generation seems to lack respect for the veterans.

  • I would imagine the (1) dislike could appreciate the fact of their freedom. To bad the dumb ass does not understand that soldiers follow orders; whether the orders are right or wrong by the Commander-In-Chief and his staff.

  • this video made me ball like a child and im a 29 year old grown ass man its disgusts me that they had to return home to hate from there own country from people who never endured or sacrificed what they did thank you to tall war veterans for what you have sacrificed and done for our beloved country

  • Oh Wow!

  • A wonderful event that warms my heart but as a Vietnam vet Army Special Forces Disabled /Retired Vet, I think the Impression that Vietnam Vets give to the General public is Important to loose the Image of down and out losers that the Media gave us., I know from experience how devastating the aftermath of the war was for all of us who lived it,, Todays Generation see many of us dressed in black leather and view us as unclean biker types who look down and out, Lets try to Make A better IMPRESSION

  • wow this is great
