  • Hip-Hop, REAL HIP-HOP is alive. It's not in the mainstream no more. Nowadays you can't rely on the tv and radio for great hip-hop because they play commercial ass garbage put out by corporate America. If you want real rap music, you gotta look at sites like Pandora, Amazon, and even YouTube

  • @brucenatelee IMO Tech n9ne is BS so is papoose even if that alphabet ryhme he did was nice hes got at least 9 whack verses to every good one hes laid. All those guys have got about as good an ear for a beat as rodney king. Way nicer underground cats out there Binary star, DOOM, Action Bronson, Meyhem Lauren, david dallas, just of the top, but thats just my opinion most those cats you chose are highly lyrical but papoose and tech 9 rap about some bullish IMO

  • @Nites559 We still have it, but it's mostly underground/independent. As long as major labels keep looking for party/swagg rappers with no lyrical skill, for cash, kids may not know that it's out there. I never heard "underground" or "independent" until after high school, and most kids are like that. Many of those that were mainstream in the past are now more underground or just less mainstream, such as the Wu Tang Clan, D12, and even Chamilionaire and Nas. Maybe it's the radio stations.

  • @Pomaori I'm not the biggest Papoose fan, but he got some great stuff. But who exactly is garbage? Please clarify.

  • @brucenatelee Half those dudes garbage too

  • What is the name of the first song?
